Kinetic Vibes Dance Academy (KVDA) is based in Bedford, Bedfordshire and offers the complete range of dance classes to students of all ages.
We have a modern and purpose built studio on Polhill Avenue.
KVDA values each and every dancer that is a part of the Academy and understands that everyone's needs are different but we are brought together by our love for dance.
KVDA has an extremely high standard of examination results
KVDA is an established and cherished part of the community performing in Bedford River Festival, Bedfringe and other local events.

Who We Are

Kinetic Vibes is a thriving dance school in Bedford offering the full range of dance lessons to students aged 2-92 years. We are fully dedicated to every student whatever their needs and ambitions.

We understand that everyone has different reasons for joining the KV Dance Academy. Whether you are following the footsteps of other KDVA Alumni who are studying at Italian Conti and Urdang and other full time theatre schools, achieving your grades, revisiting dance as a grown up or a total beginner, ultimately it is about developing or rekindling that passion for dance and having fun!

All of our teachers are fully DBS checked, with completed First Aid training. 

Our History

Kinetic Vibes started 20 years ago and was founded by Kiersten Theakstone (A.N.A.T.D BaHons, Pgdip). Kiersten, has been a teacher for 27 years. A successful dancer and choreographer in her own right, she has performed in the UK and abroad. She has choreographed many professional dance shows.
Kiersten knew that Bedford needed a dance school that provided a wide range of dance and not just the graded offerings. She launched KVDA and has never looked back.
